The DRAFT Economic Development Strategy 2014-2024 has been developed to prepare for change and take advantage of the emerging economic environment, explore a new direction for our future, and make a commitment to creating a robust and resilient economy for the region.

Recognising the development and construction industry is a key component of the Bundaberg regional economy, Council has launched the "Bundaberg Open for Development” package of incentives. 

This initiative provides a range of incentives designed to stimulate development activity which leads to increased economic growth and job creation, while making the best use of existing infrastructure.
