Business Bundaberg and Invest Bundaberg are brands within the Economic Development Unit for Bundaberg Regional Council and we proactively support a sustainable regional economy through industry development initiatives and investment attraction programs. This is undertaken in collaboration with our community, local business and other levels of government to achieve maximum positive outcomes.
We have a strong understanding of local business capability and can facilitate introductions with potential investors to create business opportunities. Our office also assists with the provision of grant funding opportunities and organises a number of key business events throughout the year to promote professional development and generate networking connections.
Staff of Business Bundaberg and Invest Bundaberg can also provide confidential and comprehensive advice on potential markets, customers, suppliers, infrastructure and services, to ensure existing businesses and potential investors in our region have all the tools and information needed for success.

The Business Bundaberg Advisory Committee is a formal Sub-Committee of the Bundaberg Regional Council and is charged with taking a leadership and collaborative role in the economic development of the Bundaberg Region. Whilst there is a number of organisations and agencies working for the benefit of the region’s economy, the Business Bundaberg Advisory Committee has been established through the support of Bundaberg Regional Council and the Gladstone Ports Corporation to develop and implement the Bundaberg Region Economic Development Strategy.

Identify opportunities for existing business expansion and/or new enterprise development that would result in economic growth in the Bundaberg Region.
Continue industry replacement where opportunities arise (business attraction and development) throughout the Bundaberg Region.
New Economic Opportunities
Facilitate the ‘higher level’ delivery of economic development initiatives to achieve new economic opportunities in the Bundaberg Region.
